17.0" / 2.8 lb. Smallmouth Bass caught by Bruce Parks fishing on Monday June 09, 2008 at 19:45 in Lake Saint Catherine 5.31 km from Hampton in Washington County, Vermont (VT), United States North America using a Red/White with white feathers a Topwater Bait by Heddon

Around 7:30 some big swirls began appearing. Tied on a red/white surface popper and jerked it as we continued to troll for brown trout. This fish hit like a ton of bricks, very strong fighter.......jumped a total of 7 times before coming to the net!
