Chris DeMartine 26.0" / 4.2 lb. Walleye caught by Chris DeMartine on Sunday June 30, 1985 at 05:50 5.34 km from Kelleys Island in Erie County, Ohio (OH), United States North America using a 3/8 oz/ Eerie Deerie Tipped With Nightcrawler a In-Line Spinner

Trolling along the east coast of Kelleys Island, Lake Erie. This is a hot spot for more than just fishing. It's fun to troll because you catch freshwater drum, smallmouth bass and walleye. There's always action.

Eerie deeries are the hot lure. Easy to catch em' if you have a boat.

You said, "this is a hotspot for more than just fishing"... what else is there? Oh... nice catch by the way.

There's a saloon there. I think it was called the "Beer Barrel Saloon". I was working a construction job for him at his private cottage. There are no rules at the beer barrel saloon and the women outnumbered the men about 3 to 1. And the men averaged about 20 years older than the women. Very interesting...
