Second cast of this hit-and-run trip and I pick up another beautiful bass. I gave this one some extra time, and he put up a hell of a fight. It left me downright giddy. I'd fished this pond three times prior with no luck, and no one I'd spoken with had experienced otherwise. Never under-estimate the power of low expectations.
