Went fishing on the Conneticut River in Claremont yesterday afternoon, caught some smalleand a few small yellow perch. Pretty slow overall but lot's of boats for a change. Posted by Brian Tufts

The Connecticut River is underrated among fishermen. I was asking wildlife biologists and fishing guides where the best fishing and the CT river kapt coming up. They would also say that not many people fish it. Perhaps they don't like fishing in current and prefer the lakes?
