The feed situation is pretty bad in Lake Mead. Actually too many stripers in there for the amount of baitfish (Threadfin shad) that is there. But you're right, heck of a lot of fun to catch! Don Martin Posted by Arizona Wildlife Outfitters about 1 year ago |

On Lake Mead there are no limits on stripers under 20 inches. The limit is 20 for stripers over 20 inches. I have NEVER seen a limit of 20 inch stripers taken by any angler, just way too many fish in the lake for that to happen. Our G&F estimates that there are between 2-4 MILLION stripers in Lake Mead at any time. Any wonder why we smoke 'em? Don Posted by Arizona Wildlife Outfitters about 1 year ago |
