using
a worm & crawfish combo on a glow jig
a Worm
drifting slowly pulling a glow jig combo with a crawfish, and a trailing hook with a nightcrawler. the bite was rather light, but planted the hook anyways. the 100F+ heat had slowed fishing some, but walleyes still came in from deeper waters late. it took me only about 5 or so minutes to boat the largest of the 4 walleyes i caught that night.
within an hour, the walleyes stop biting, and i went after channel cats with "some" success.
