a crawfish tail & stinkbait bundle on treble hook
a Shrimp
fishing the deep calm slackwater pool below the dam as sheltered by the walls to the shipping locks at lower granite dam. fishing specifically for catfish.
i landed a number of channels and blues when i finally hooked this 18-pounder. it bite soft and fought rather lazy until it neared the shore...then it pulled strong.
this map above is incomplete because it does not either show the dam spanning the river, nor the road that crosses it.
