The king of night fishing lures. We caught well over a dozen bass last night on the big black jitterbugs. Have to be careful with the itchy trigger finger, though. The shortest distance between two points can usually be drawn from a largemouth's lips to the idiot in the canoe who tried to set the hook too soon. Had a couple of close calls. It definitely evens the playing field a bit. I snip off each third hook before I use them, but no less scary. One major benefit of the spinner/buzzbait family: easy removal. Posted by Greg Jarrow about 1 year ago |

A jitterbug with two sets of sharp treble hooks flying at you at 100 miles per hour? That'll wake you up! Posted by Joe Pych
