11.0" / 1.5 lb. Bluegill caught by Jason Cavin on Saturday July 05, 2008 at 15:30 near Fowlerville in Livingston County, Michigan (MI), United States North America using a 1/8 oz. White Rooster Tail a Spinnerbait

My son, Carter, caught this fish. He was fishing with me and his brother, Collin, and a little pond by my parents house in Michigan. Actually the same pond where I caught the 3lb gill that I posted earlier. He was throwing a 1/8oz rooster tail for the bass when this nice bluegill came along. He was very excited as you could imagine it was the biggest bluegill he's ever caught.
