This was One of Gregs first experainces at ice fishing cause he's from HOUSTON,TX were there is no ice and at first I think he thought I was crazy cause at the beggening of the season I wasent doing to well and I had a 1960s hand auger that sucked to use but I pressed on from place to place drilling holes one day i think i drilled like 30 holes I had blisters on my hands still press on in search of fish well we finlly found them and we went back to the same spot all year and I was sick of that auger so greg bought a new one that rotated insted of the t-handle one I was using and all this time greg had a broken wrist so I drilled 4 holes were every we go so I got sick of that and said Im buying a gas powered auger so greg works for a outfitter so he said I could get this gas auger for cheap so I bought it brand new but found out real quick why the previuos owner brought it back the spring in the pull handle was broken fixed that then the thing would be just tempermental so I pressed on using it and on the very last day of ice fishing in colorado it died so I took it in cause it had to under warranty and one thing i got to say is ardisam motors they stand behind them I will never go with anything else so al in all we had a greeat ice fishing adventure and heres some fish greg caught my nane is travis reker i took greg ice fishing and he cant wait for next year. This story tells me that Im not getting anything else than a gas powered auger cuase I;ts not Easy to cut through 2 feet of ice. and dress warm for this years upcoming ice fishing cause its going to be a long winter. Posted by Travis Reker about 1 year ago |
