26.0" / 7.8 lb. Channel Catfish caught by Chris DeMartine fishing on Tuesday August 08, 2000 at 20:30 near Ringoes in Hunterdon County, New Jersey (NJ), United States North America using a Live Shiner a Baitfish

Caught a dozen of these on a 95 degree evening in 10" of water using live shiners and small cheap plastic floats. This one was the biggest. They would blow up on the shiners kind of like a Largemouth Bass would.

Amwell Lake is the best place I've ever fished in NJ for Channel Catfish.
