I gotta late start this season for my fishing, since this year I starting coaching softball for my daughters team ( which finished 2nd place ).. Theres a pond the size of a football field, and 15-20 ft deep 50 ft from my back yrd. Ive always knew there was bluegill, catfish, carp, and sunfish in there, so I only fish for those with my daughter. Then one morning I was talking to a oldtimer, and he told me that 3-5 yr before a lot of people have thrown in largemouths, smallmouths, and rock bass from lake michigan, and crystal lake(where i normally fish bass and walleye). So i knew since theyve been in here quite awhile, theyve had a chance to grow and even reproduce. But I still figured no bigger than 12 inches maybe. Then 830 pm summer, BAM!! 17 inches 4lbs!!!
