i went fishing from 10 am - 7 pm, a long day of fishing @ the illinois river. i was using a rattling rapala lipless hardbait, silver and gold color, the bass were going nuts over it on slow retrieve. i caught a few others, but this lil guy was by far the most agressive of the 3 largemouths i caught, jumping out of the water trying to throw the lure.. exciting!! ( a funny short story)... be4 i even got to start fishing, i was looking for a good spot to try out on the river bank, im in the woods, all mud and weeds, perfect for bass i thought!! i put my tackle and rod down step back, and fall from the 6 ft bank into the river.. so i was the catch of the day..lol Posted by Josh Bacharach about 1 year ago
