First catch of the night using a bloodworm from the pier just down from road from the Jenettes (one day before the grand opening). The little mullet was good bait for shark fishing...

I think it's called a Northern Kingfish, but you are right the fin sticking out at the top is really cool looking. I had to look up the pier location; Avalon Pier in Kitty Hawk, NC!

Looks like a baby roosterfish! i have never caught one but looks just like it. Interesting!
