The water temp was cold today and bass were hugging cement structure. I guess it radiates heat. I also whiffed the hook set on a good Bowfin. How did I know it was a Bowfin? Tie a sirloin steak on your line and throw it in a tiger cage and you'll get the idea. Posted by Henry V

I was at that impoundment yesterday. Went back last night with cut shad. Didn't have a steel leader (so you know what happened next). I saw what was probably a 5 lbs Bass jump under the bridge on the left side. Great spot! Posted by Mike S
