Here the biggest i heard of was 12 pounds,one thing i can tell you is that they are the strongest fish per pound i have encounter and here i fish for almost every sport fish you can imagine,tarpon,snook,dolphin or mahi mahi,kingfish,cudas,permit ect.in salt water,
