22.0" Chain Pickerel caught by Dennis Huskins fishing on Saturday July 07, 2018 at 16:58 near Chester in Morris County, New Jersey (NJ), United States North America using a 3/4 oz silver Kastmaster a Casting & Trolling Spoon by Acme Tackle Company

Back to an old favorite. Pickerel heaven. Swampy, full of weeds, shore line fallen trees and branches everywhere. Lost lures are a daily event. They play volley ball with the weedless lures without a hookup. Treble hooks get them but the weeds and muck jump in first. They often run right into the branches and hang you up. But that's why you just got to persevere and out think them.

No Brian, I just have been busy with the rod building. Got 5 for sale on Ebay now. All high end St Croix. Plus to tell the truth, I find it difficult to shore fish in the extreme heat.

good to see a post from you. I started to think that you weren't fishing.
