a Bass Assasin Junebug/Lime Green tail
a Worm
Caught just before the cold front and much needed rain came through. I saw many shad jumping out of the water, but had no luck with buzzbait, spinners, torpedoes, poppers, or cranks. My Color C-Lector said dark blue, so I threw a junebug worm with a small weight to create a half-fast Carolina. Just twitching on the bottom when it hit- only fish caught that day. Put it on the scale and put it back as usual. Haven't caught one since the front - the water's muddy and the front may have given lockjaw to all the area ponds. My master fisher buddy and I bombed out the next day (he never misses!) and I have caught nothing since Tuesday.
