I landed 8 Rainbow Trout today and these pics are of the best from the day's catch. The small bass were hogging the water nearest the bank. Their presence, combined with a good wind, made it difficult to fish with a fly rod. So I switched to a spinning rod and caught the trout in deep water (15 feet), where they were suspended and rising occasionally. Some of these trout are bred from Steelhead stock, and I could tell the difference - they fought like crazy.
