Chris, you are very observant. I call this patented device the "digit widget", because that is what it is. You won't find it in Bass Pro or Cabelas. The original intent was for physical therapy ($20,000 finger) but as a curious fisherman, we have addapted it to panfishing. The flag on the widget is not visible.Very easy to can tell if you get a bite. The miniture flag goes up, followed by a tug, then excrutiating pain. The pain is sufficient to make you forget about the cold finger. Good for quick hook sets. Posted by John Harrington about 1 year ago |

How does that thing work? I have difficulty feeling the bite when my hands get cold -- especially when Crappie fishing. Does it have a heating coil inside?

Is that Cabela's new hand jig on your right hand? Do you use a braided line with that for more sensitivity? Posted by Joe Pych about 1 year ago |
