One of six fish caught during the evening's major Solunar activity period on a windy pond in muddy water.
I was diving the lure down with short pulls to keep it just above the weeds. 2#5oz. 18" by scale and tape. The fish has a wicked hook scar not really healed over behind and below its right eye...some fish never learn (lucky us).
The second fish was caught on a 1/2 oz. Carolina rig with a Zoom 6" lizard in Tequila Sunrise (dark red/black) on a slow pull and stop retrieve. 1#13oz., 17" by scale and tape.
The other 4 were caught on a subsurface silver crank (2), 1/2 oz. white spinner bait (1), or Yum 6" orange/pink Texas rigged worm.
