Fishing Report

So I was in the middle of cleaning up my tackle and my son is looking over the edge of this concrete fishing area and he yells "Dad look there's a lobster next to the beer can!" So I didn't have a clue what he was looking at until I took a peek and saw two crawdads doing the deed. After I explained to him what they were, he decided he would get his little pole with a bare hook and try to catch them.

Whatever...not going to happen. Well, then he yells: "Dad I gottem. I gottem both!" He had hooked the larger one through the tail and pulled them up on the fishing area. Right after I took the picture, one of the claws moved and he threw the thing down on the ground. I thought about using them as bait, but decided against it since the trout were biting on the worms.
