Fishing with son and friends in dec 07. The yellow fin were there. We had 18 yellow fins in the boat in about 4 hours. The sharks were also there, large hammer heads 350lb or so and white tip sharks made it harder to get them in. we lost about seven fish to the sharks. We also landed four or five black fin tunas as well. Great trip! Note: We left out of Oregon inlet,seas were 4to6 winds NE 15to20 bumpy ride. Posted by Mark Clements over 2 years ago

Nice fish and great story. Three predators -- you and the two types of sharks -- all fighting for food. And I'm sure the tuna was chasing their food. Food chain in action. Posted by Joe Pych
