It's hard to complain about being in New Orleans for a business convention... but, while i was away, my dad put aside his babysitting duties to steal a handful of beautiful trout from the one place i hadn't yet tried - a nice little hole below a waterfall literally a stone's throw away from my house. I finally got out there during a lunch break this week and caught this beauty on my little girl's 3ft ugly stik ultra-light. It's my new trout rig - anything i catch feels like a whale. Great way to start the new year.
