Adding my first report here, it's of my current personal best Muskie. Came trolling in the fall on Balsam lake with a charter (Davis Batah of figure 8 muskie charters). Weather was miserable so casting was out, we just trolled the likely spots when the rod went off. Was the short line so not much of a fight really. Thank for the comments everyone, we didn't get a weight on him but he was pretty heavy. The length-weight calculators say 47.5x19 girth should be a bit over 20lbs so I guess that's a start. Posted by Sean Maurik 10 months ago |
