20.5" / 5.1 lb. Smallmouth Bass caught by David Barrell fishing on Tuesday May 26, 2009 at 10:24 13.04 km from Magog in Quebec, Canada North America using a pumpkin seed a Worm by Gary Yamamoto Custom Baits

Fishing from the river bank of outlet of lake Massawippi in the Eastern Townships - little room to cast; flipped the worm under and through an opening and wow, didn't know if I could set the hook with the limited room. Got him up and the line released from the hook and he flopped back into a little shallow spot and I reached down and grabbed him. Only measurement tool was the 18" wide tackle box. weight is an estimate, but close. Doesn't matter. It's the biggest "smallie" ever for me.
