Having caught the biggest smallie in my life, I was heading back to the car and decided to try the worm a few more times around the docks by the marina. Holy cow I hooked a huge northern and was really struggling to get him in on my small spinning rod. He would go under a dock, up in the air, anywhere he wanted. Fortuately, some guys in the marina heard the commotion and grabbed a net and yelled, "do you want a net" Yup, and it's a good thing. Don't think I could have gotten him up on the dock and then to dry ground. They had as much fun as I did. No leader, but hooked him just right.
Someone else can have a go at both fish caught within two hundred yards on a lazy Spring day in Canada. It doesn't get any better.

	Getting nice feedback -- when you fish by yourself, the catch is its own reward. When you can share through Hooked-In, it's even more gratifying. It's not always the size, but also the quality of fish and the circumstances. I can't believe the pike didn't cut me off as I didn't have a leader. Wasn't even thinking about pike.
