I was out on Ceaser Creek Lake 10/12/2008 to run my boat for the last time of the year tomake stable for the gas was in all the lines and carbs. I saw shad running everywhere on a roadbed that runs from 1ft into 14ft to 35ft of water, I have fished for yrs and only caught white bass and saugeyes from this area. I saw shad skipping and tossed a Blue Fox Inline Spinner 3/16 oz. into the area and it hit like a train and went airborn in seconds and I was so excited that as soon as I landed the 5 lb. 14 oz.Bass I cranked up and headed for the dock and trailered my boat and went to the Spillway mrkt to have it photo & wght,needless to say this fish is now on my wall and looks as good as the day I caught it!! Nice fish. Should have CPRed her so she can make some more that will get that size. A photo is just as good. Get some good measurements and a replica can be made which would be a win/win.
