16.0" Chain Pickerel caught by Henry V fishing on Monday June 08, 2009 at 16:35 near Groton in Middlesex County, Massachusetts (MA), United States North America using a Aglia a In-Line Spinner by Mepps

I've been to New England many times and never had a chance to fish there. I barely had a chance this weekend, but I managed a few hours on a section of the Squanacook River. I was hampered by lack of a boat and poor shore access, but I finally found a spot below an old mill dam where I could cast. I fished for about 45 minutes and caught a mess of smallies and this chunky pickerel. The spot was an angler's paradise, and if my friend's don't relocate I will definitely be back to clean the river out.
