2.0 lb. Smallmouth Bass caught by Joe Pych fishing at the LCI Father’s Day Fishing Derby on Monday June 22, 2009 at 06:53 in Lake Champlain 4.98 km from Grand Isle in Grand Isle County, Vermont (VT), United States North America using a Spinnerbait

Last picture from the LCI derby. On the last day, we had hoped to go out to troll for salmon. But the wind was whipping at ~30 mph and the seas were rough. We tried the windward side first, then the leeward - not safe either way. So, we did some bass fishing in the bay. The wind made that difficult, too. But I got this one off a point with a white spinner.

I guessing this was two pounds.
