Was kinda of un-prepared for this one. I stopped by Little Creek with IanM. All I had was an ultra-light with 4lbs test and one lure. I was catching a few bream and found a good spot next to a beaver lodge. Out of no where this fin smashed my lure. Normally a fin would snap this line in a split second. I've had them break me off on twenty pound braid. It was a long fight. She made some good runs and did that tail dance maneuver a few times. Ian came to the rescue with the boga-grip. When we got her in I noticed the lure was deep down in her inner gills. I had no gear with me but luckily was able to get the lure out the back side of her gill plate and got her released safely.
