Fishing Report

8.0" Rock Bass caught by Geoffrey Bieleski fishing on Saturday July 04, 2009 at 16:13 in Westfield River 1.76 km from West Springfield in Hampden County, Massachusetts (MA), United States North America using a chartreuse a Grub

2 inch chartreuse curly tail grub with a same color jig head and a silver spinner. I lit a cigarette and cast out, reeled in about 5 feet and this little guy hit it with all it had! It felt like a smally tuggin on the thing for a few seconds. Nothing special, more impressed that I finally got something to hit a grub this year and not a rooster tail.
