That's understandable... I made the same "mistake". That record is overlooked. Be sure to keep next time. Posted by Joe Pych 4 months ago |

all i have to show for it is the pictures. the weight is just an estimate by feel from my dad and i. and the length is still marked on my old tackle box in the basement because i had nothing to measure it with at the time so i flopped in on the box and marked it with a sharpie. it was a little over 14. i wish i had kept the fish now. but i dont eat them so i figured i should toss it back for someone else to catch. guess i should check that website out so this wont happen again. bummer for me. would have been cool to have my name in the record books haha Posted by Ryan Ovitt 4 months ago |

FYI... the NH state record for rock bass is 13.50" 1 lb. 8 oz. See http://www.wildlife.state.nh.us/Fishing/NH_state_record_fish.htm If your measures are accurate, that's a new state record. You should check it in if you can prove it. Good luck. In any event, that's a nice fish. Posted by Joe Pych 4 months ago |
