Hi fellow anglers,
I was fishing out in Staten Island in a area called
Great Kills with my dearest Shirley.
Everytime I catch a fish I have to give credit to her
Because she is the charming and knowledgable chic
Who brought be back into fishing...Now about my catch
That day...We were fishing off the surf that had alot
Of rocks at our backs....The tide was starting to drop
And the blues had stopped hiting our chunk baits.
I decided to use some of my lures that I had with me.
I tied on a Tsunami Popper and cast it out a few times
And at split moment I felt a strong pull on my rod
I had caught my a blue on a articial lure.
All my previous blues were caught on chunk bait.
Thanks to a woman I have reclaimed my passion for
Fishing that I had as a boy.
