This blue was just one of many that I landed on this day trip. This was the frist time that I have been on a day time jigging trip. I usually go on the night trips to avoid the heat and the sunburn that normally comes with day trips! I was skeptical about day fishing for blues cause I've always heard that it was better to fish for them at night, but it ended up being a great trip we pulled fish in untill the last minute at sometimes there would be 10 of us with fish on at one time! I also caught two different species on this day a Cod and a pollock I'll be posting them later.
