a Metal jig with bright green rubber tail
a Jigging Spoon
I caught this pollock while fishing for bluesfish aboard the big jamaica. He was my first catch of the day and the first pollock I had ever caught. The captin blew the horn to let us know to begin fishing so I dropped my jig down and after it hit the bottom I jigged it up and down a couple of times and he hit I thought he was a blue cause the way he was fighting. Now it must be good eating cause after I landed him this guy came over to me and asked if I would sell it to him. At first I didn't want to sell it but he told me he would give me $25 so I figured I wasn't going to eat it anyways so I sold it to him! Not bad that was the easiest 25 bucks I ever made!
