Hi,
This is the story of my first big largemouth
I had met a nice guy named Vinny down at Central Park
In the area they call the Harlem Meer.
The action that Sat was very spotty so Vinny said
Let's walk down to the 103st section of the lake that
Is a runoff of the larger lake at the Meer
Vinny moved around towards the other end where the
Trees extended into the water and it wasn't too long
Before he caught a 4-5 pounder.I was charged up about
This new spot that he had showed me.
I decided to give it a shot the next morning being Sun
MY collection included several lures and chose to use
A Rapala Rattle Trap that I had picked up on a deal.
I threw my line straight out slightly to the right.
I felt a strong pull on my rod tip and pulled it
Upwards my body and I knew that it was a big one.
I was so excited that I tried to find someone to take
My picture not knowing that the LM had managed to
Wiggle off and got back in the water before I had
A chance to get a picture...Never forget that moment
