I will have to give the carolina rig some practice too... have you tried/had any luck with dropshot rigged? Your comment made me think of this because same concept of getting the worm off the bottom. Plus it seems like bottom bouncing for walleye (which I know I can do with success).

try a carolina rigg you will be suprised, nothing against texas rigg but its something the bass love about seeing that worm floating a foot off the bottom it just looks more realistic to them i guess...

Good bass joe.....I try that wacky worm stuff and i mean either way wacky rigg or regular weedless rigg i still catch the bass not like im not catching bass regular rigg so i switch to wacky and bang them out had a 6 pounder monday regular rigg........Love those yamamoto worms caught all my biggest bass on those....
