As usual, I stopped for a few casts on the way to work. We had some rain yesterday, but it gets hot and humid real fast here after a storm, so I hit the water early. My first stop was the Lower Little Creek impoundment. There were fish breaking the surface everywhere, chasing abit, but I couldn;t get a bite. And then this 22" beauty slowly followed my Aglia spinner to the back, grabbed it in its mouth, and just sat there. I started at the fish for about five seconds thinking" what is wrong?" And then I twitched the rod and all hell broke loose. Three casts later I hooked a two and a half foot long beast, landed it, and then watched it jump back into the water at my feet.
