Shot with my jennings bow with muzzy gar point and muzzy bowfishing system 80lb hi-vis dacron. Shot behind pectoral fin. took 10yrds of line. good fight by hand. kinda like ice fishing wit a bit of deer hunting feel to it. must be very stealthy were this species has a much larger laterel line which gives this fish a more heightened sense's to vibrations. TURN UR GRAPHS OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pending state of Maine hand line record(bow) Posted by Sean Curtis 7 months ago

Hi Sean,
I've seen online carp that you caught in Marrymeeting Bay and they look awesome. I live in Maine already 15 years and did not know
that we had carp here! I was wondering if you could tell me if the fishing season is open in Marrymeeting Bay all year long or are there
any limitation. I cannot find anything in the rule book, or I'm unable to see it in it. I'm planning to come up there with couple of my buddies
and try carp fishing (we used to carp fish in Europe a lot). Any tips as far as the parking and approachability of that area is really welcome.
Thanks a lot!
