Decided to head back out to Mullica Hill Pond. I threw a minnow about 15 feet out from the shore, just beyond the lily pads. In the meantime, I decided to throw a Skitter Pop on another rod about 25 yards out. After a few twitches, this pretty decent sized Pickerel exploded on the lure. It hit it so hard that I thought it was a 12 LB Largemouth Bass. He put up a good fight on the 10 LB test I was using. As I got him close to the shore, he made one last ditch effort to escape and got caught up on in the lily pads about 5 feet out. Of course, the line broke and I had to go out and retrieve him by hand. I thought I lost him AND the lure. Good time right there.
