Was just about ready to call it a day when I started making some random last casts across the impoundment. Out of know where I felt a huge strike and this massive fin shot straight into the air for an awesome air display. I knew I had a beast on when my med heavy rod was bent completely in half. He made a few nice runs on me but was able get it out onto land for a change. (Been on a bad luck streak for a while with fish spitting my hooks). Another thanks to Mike for the assist on this one as well.
