Bluegill caught by Justin Emerle fishing on Saturday September 05, 2009 at 13:50 near Westville in Gloucester County, New Jersey (NJ), United States North America using a Worm

Took the kids out for an afternoon of creek fishing at the mouth of the Big Timber Creek and Delaware River; a change of pace from the Pickerel/Bass lake fishing. We fished 2 hours of incoming tide and slack high tide with nightcrawlers, little trout worms, and heavy rigs. We caught a uniquely colored sunfish, a channel catfish, and 7 White Perch.

Don't catch too many sunfish or bluegill when fishing deep in this big creek. The color on this fish was beautiful. It was like a flourescent blueish-green. Never seen a bluegill like this one before.
