i watched a show on discovery where they found a pond with those in it and they poisoned the whole pond hope that doesnt happen

No - I caught two last year from the same pond system. Pretty sure I got a strike from another today but I didn't hook up.

We were pond fishing for bass, but our ponds hold a lot of different type fish (bream, bass, crappie, catfish, carp, gar), but the snakehead are invasive. When they are caught they must be killed.

Cool. I always wanted one of those as a pet. There's a lake up here in South Jersey where 2 were caught as well as 3 Bowfin. There was a bounty going for anyone who caught, killed, and brought them back to the NJ Game and Wildlife.
