Was tuning some crankbaits and decided to go to Swedesboro Lake to practice some casting/pitching technique and to practice on retrieves on a bunch of lures. At the end of the evening I tied on a Skitter Pop to cast out a major kink that was in the spool of one of my reels. This little dude made an attempt to strike the lure but apparently missed it. I set the hook anyway. When I was reeling in he felt a bit strange. The fight was awkward...........................

Hits on crankbaits throw me off sometimes....a crank through a nice current almost sometimes feels like a hit, looks like a copy of what happened to me the other day.. appears to be the same size crankbait and all.
