FYI... I did add Snakehead to the dropdown list. I think it's good idea to track separately. In the description, i noted it is an invasive species. Very interesting and adaptable fish.

I guess that's how it is, then. The thing that worries me - in addition to the fact that they will hurt native species - is that people confuse them with Bowfin. So it's not so much about "Kill the Snakehead" as it is about "Save the Bowfin!"

Anyway, good job, Brian.

Yes - this and every other snakehead I catch are dispatched without hesitation. The last time I talked to MD DNR they told me they are no longer taking individual reports as the numbers are getting out of control.

I am fairly certain I also came across a ball of snakehead fry - 1/4 to 1/2 inch, tadpole like, tan in color with a prominent black stripe on each side.
There was approximately 50-60 of them and they were literally balled up on the surface in some weed cover.

lol henry, well there here now and lets face it I know they are a invasive species but they are going to reproduce at a rate higher than we can catch and kill them so you know what that means...

I hope you killed it and reported it to the fish and game people. And no, Brandon, they shouldn't be on the drop down list - they shouldn't be anywhere.
