Chain Pickerel caught by Justin Emerle fishing on Tuesday October 20, 2009 at 12:20 near Franklinville in Gloucester County, New Jersey (NJ), United States North America using a Shiner

Took the boy out on a last minute fishing trip. We fished for 2 hours and didn't get a single bite. Suddenly, the lake woke up and we landed 2 largemouth Bass, and 8 Chain Pickerel. It's pathetic, my 4 year old son caught BOTH bass. He was bragging about it and laughing all the way home.

I wouldn't doubt it. There are three lakes that run into each other and they're only 5 minutes apart. Iona, Franklinvile, and Idle Acres. They are LOADED with Pickerel. It's gotten to the point where it isn't even fun to catch them anymore.
