26.5" / 7.0 lb. Striped Bass (striper) caught by Chris Habeck fishing on Saturday October 31, 2009 at 19:00 (not geocoded)

My first striped bass of the Fall season and hopefully 1 of many that I'll be posting! I caught this guy in LBI on 68th St. in Brant beach! He was just shy of being a keeper at 26.5in, striped bass have to be 28in or greater in NJ to keep! He was caught on chunked bunker durring the afternoon outgoing tide! High tide was at 5:30pm and he was caught around 8:00pm! He was the only bass of the trip, but we also caught a bunch of 10-15lbs dogfish wich kept us busy all night!! The fish was released after a the picture!

	I know you can get the striper bonus pass wich lets you keep 3 bass but you have to catch 1 34 inch or greater and the others have to be 28in or greater!! Posted by Chris Habeck 4 months ago
	do you have a slot limit in nj like we have here we can keep them between like 18 and 24 inches then anything over 28 thats not exact but something like that Posted by John Wright 4 months ago
