we use a leader when were using minnows to catch them but if were using lures we dont seem to have a problem with them cutting us off but the big ones will when using a hook Posted by John Wright 14 days ago |

I go with a short leader of 17 pound mono on my 10 pound braid. so far so good. Did have one cut my braid on a direct connect a month ago. Posted by Dennis Huskins 15 days ago |

Nice healthy Pickerel. I hate using treble hooks with Pickerel. Pain in the arse getting them out.
