12.0" / 1.0 lb. Brown Trout caught by Albert Scantleberry fishing on Saturday November 17, 2007 at 02:00 in Wantagh Pond near Wantagh in Nassau County, New York (NY), United States North America using a 3/8oz Gold Kastmaster a Casting & Trolling Spoon by Acme Tackle Company

This fishing trip started at South Pond in Nassau County
I had just recently checked the Stocking for L.I. and
My two friends and I decided to try South Pond which
Had recently been stocked with some descent sized trout.
We slipped on our hip waders and tried for a few hours.
Nothing doing and we were a little tired from the walk.
I say this because if you fish South Pond then note that
It's a nice walk from the parking area to the pond.
My buddies were out of breath from the walk.
I forgot from my previous trip there that you had a walk.
We decided to leave and try the Upper Twin Lks in Wantagh
I went ahead and there was a guy doing very well using
A Gold Kastmaster so when the guys made their way to
The lake I told them to try gold and not silver.
Funny because my previous use of gold was zero fish.
This was my first time wading at this lake.
I got lucky and by the time my buddies set up themselves
I had nailed one but unfortunately we got a late start
And the hits had died down considerably.
I haven't been skunked too many times here when
The wind is not blowing too strong.

Thanks alot Joe I don't know what I'd do without you.
Twin Lakes is nice but the access is limited.
There is one big area for about 3 -4 anglers
If you don't get there early then
You must put on some waders.

Nice catch, Albert. Good adjustment on the location and the lures. (PS I fixed the map for you)
